Coffee Black No Sugar is a new episode in Poet Camera, an ongoing video series by Atlanta-based artist Freddy Ciminelli. Part of Ciminelli’s evolving Intermix art practice, the series brings together his unique visual art, music, and poetry into unified cinematic multimedia experiences.

The artist also experiments with using generative AI to amplify elements of art and design in this cinematic multimedia artwork. In Coffee Black Not Sugar, these elements come together as an exploration of image, sound, language, and the possibilities of contemporary creative practice. Also, Ciminelli approaches generative AI as a creative collaborator—not a replacement for artistic vision—with the intention of using the technology to amplify creativity and expand the possibilities of the work.
