About Me …

“Metaphorically, my work exists at the intersection of visual imagery and music, where rhythm, form, and emotion come together”

Welcome and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Freddy and I’m a visual artist who explores the convergence of sound and image. Metaphorically, my work exists at the intersection of visual imagery and music, where rhythm, form, and emotion come together. I was initially trained as a photographer, but over time I’ve expanded my creative approach to include new media and digital tools alongside traditional materials.

My style is bold, abstract, and works express the energy and emotion of music through visual form. My expressionistic style is rooted in rhythm, texture, and improvisation—hallmarks of my creative process. Each piece I create is a visual reverberation of sound, shaped by a deeply intuitive workflow where art and music constantly inform one another.

Music has been an integral component of my artistic practice since its inception. However, my journey into composing and playing electronic music was set in motion in 2010, preceding a period of creating mix-tapes to accompany my artwork. Notably, the electronic music I create serves as both inspiration and complement to my visual art, where each beat and synth line informs the movement and emotional resonance of my works.

For your reference, I have included one of my earlier compositions titled “Stars Cover Us Like Skin.” To listen to the track, please click on the music player and turn up the volume.

I’m also the founder of Art Studio Intermix, a multimedia art studio based in Atlanta, Georgia, dedicated to an interdisciplinary workflow that aims to push my creative boundaries.
